Friends of Vincents
Become a Friend of Vincents!
Vincents Art Workshop is a community of healing and creativity
in the heart of Wellington. For the last twenty-three years
Vincents has been providing a creative space, art materials,
tuition and support for over 30 people a day. Many lives have
been changed and relaunched from this vibrant and supportive
environment. To thrive, Vincents needs a wider extended family
of friends. Friends will be people who feel passionate about
what this extraordinary, community art space achieves. We
invite you to help continue that “Friends of Vincents”
support network.
Currently it costs around $260,000 to run Vincents for a
year. About half that comes from the Ministry of Social Development,
a significant number of philanthropic trusts, Wellington City
Council and some inner city churches have provided generous
support over many years. Our own income generating activities
have also helped towards balancing the books.
Any contribution (small or large) would make a positive difference
for Vincents and would be very, very welcome.
