Robert Rapson is mostly known for his ceramics
though he originally had a painting background. He is currently
trying to make clay move and transport has been the main focus
e.g. ships, cars and planes.
Robert has participated in exhibitions in Australia and New
Zealand. Robert won first prize in the Molly Morpeth 3D award
in Whakatane, a merit in the Norsewear Award and prizes in
The Manukau Sculpture and Vessel exhibition in Auckland.
Robert has worked in various parts of the world. Robert's
work appeals to a wide variety of people and not just the
artistic elite. |
